Insulated started as a Rock band in 2002 with the
founding members being Coty Burton, drummer and Drew Aud, lead
guitar player. DJ Brown, bass guitar player was added sometime
in 2004/2005, while Ryan Clark, lead and rhythm guitar player
was added in mid-2006. The band has been together with all 4
members 5+ years, but for almost 9 years total.
Insulated continues to play Classic Rock, but have also added
Southern Rock and Country to their genre as well. They have
also played Christian music at Owensboro Christian and Christ
Community. These young men are very talented musicians with a
God given talent that they continue to use for not only
themselves, but also by giving back to the community. Insulated
has played several fundraisers for many local families
throughout Owensboro and the surrounding counties and have play
different venues; from restaurants to private parties to wedding
receptions. They are currently in the Big O finale, for the 2nd
year in a row, for the opening of the Big O music fest.
Headed up by local favorite Andy Brasher, Ten Pound Pie offers
and mix of Southern Rock classic covers as well as original
tunes. This band delivers a high energy performance that
all ages can enjoy.

Ever since three talented
high school students from western Kentucky formed a band called
Straight Laced in November of 2010, they have been going places.
From finishing third in the Kentucky State finals of the Coca
Cola Talent Contest, advancing to the state finals of the
Colgate Country Showdown, performing at the World Equestrian
Games, opening for John Michael Montgomery at the Ballard County
Fair and numerous area shows and radio appearances, they have
accomplished much in a short period of time. Straight Laced’s
musicians are Quinton Pence (guitar and harmony vocals), Jenny
Beth Willis (lead vocals and guitar), and Emily Wills (fiddle,
keyboard and harmony vocals). Straight Laced is an acoustic
country band that also incorporates hints of gospel and
bluegrass music into their shows.
