RULES AND STANDARDS: |
| |
The Owensboro PumpkinFest is a family event. While the
entertainment varies in genre, the same codes of conduct must be
followed by each act and will be enforced. We want everyone to
perform their show as they see fit; however, due to the nature
of this event, these rules must be followed: |
| |
|
| |
1. While performing, please refrain from any vulgarity that
would be considered offensive. This includes, but is not limited
to: foul language, obscene gestures, etc. The PumpkinFest
committee reserves the right to stop a show if there is a breach
of this rule. |
| |
|
| |
2. We will ask that you be in the stage area-or on the
stage-before your scheduled performance time allowing yourself
and/or crew time to set up personal rigs (amps, etc). There will
be approx. 60 minutes between each act allowing adequate time
for set up. There will also be a professional crew working with
the sound engineer who can assist in setting up mics, moving
gear, etc. You will be contacted
about the load in/ load out details prior to the festival. There
will be plenty of room behind the stage to assemble drum kits
for quicker set up time. |
| |
|
| |
3. You
must be able to
perform for 60 to 90 minutes. A complete schedule will be
sent to you prior to the event. |
| |
|
| |
4. We
welcome and encourage you to bring recordings, clothing items,
and any other merchandise you may have to sell while your band
is performing and while the next band is preparing to take the
stage. However, once the performer following you is prepared to
take the stage we ask that you please cease selling your items
in the vicinity of the stage as a courtesy to the other
performers and their merchandise crews. |
